Many have suggested it is not the economy that is responsible for McCain's recent drop in the polls, but it is his selection of Sarah Palin. The national polls are no good for McCain and the GOP right now, but the state-by-state polls are even worse. Palin needs a hit tonight to keep this game alive for the GOP.
